My name is Leona Hall, and I am a high school ceramics teacher who is currently pursuing a certificate in education administration. I feel truly blessed to have the career that I do, and I strive each day to lead with gratitude, not attitude.  Working in education is a gateway to miracles  that unfold through the education experience. I believe deeply in the power of belonging, vulnerability, and sincerity, and I approach each moment—both in the classroom and in leadership—with presence and purpose. In my teaching, I often say that I learn just as much from my students as they do from me, and that belief shapes my philosophy of human-centered education.

I focus on ensuring that students know they are humans first, valued for who they are before what they do. As I move toward administration, my goal is to extend that same care, authenticity, and respect to staff—honoring them as whole people first, and fostering a culture rooted in compassion, trust, and gratitude.

Personal Mission and Vision

Personal and professional mission:

I believe that personal relationships, authentic communication, and meaningful collaboration are the foundation of true growth—for students, staff, and school communities alike. As a leader, I strive to lead with heart and kindness, fostering an environment built on trust, empathy, and shared purpose. My background in teaching art has taught me to think creatively and approach challenges from multiple perspectives, encouraging innovation and problem-solving “outside the box.” Through this lens, I aim to cultivate spaces where every individual feels seen, valued, and inspired to reach their fullest potential.
